I've been responsible for both the business and the technology. I co-founded an AI hedge fund and ran it as COO, then served as CTO of an early-stage AI lab. That experience shapes how I work: start with the business goal, make the technical tradeoffs clear, and stay involved through delivery.
I work with a variety of clients, from large businesses to small teams, who need experienced technical ownership. Depending on the project, that can mean setting the roadmap, leading engineers and vendors, or writing the code myself. You'll know what we're building, why it matters, and what's getting in the way.
I hold an MBA, along with advanced certificates in machine learning and data engineering. In my own time I volunteer as an AI mentor at CSUF. I'm based in Los Angeles and Orange County and work remotely through my company, Brighton Labs.
